"We had to make decisions not to do that once we had kids. You had to change sort of what the rules were," George added.
Despite these challenges, George expressed his gratitude for the life he leads. At 64, he feels fortunate to have a fulfilling career, great friends, and the ability to spend quality time with his family.
"I'm in a pretty comfortable place in life," he said.

"We do the best we can to minimize any impact on our children," Amal told Glamour magazine. "We don't put our children out there, we've never put their photo out there or anything like that."
